Exhibition Trophies
Best in Show - The RM Messick Memorial Trophy
is awarded to the exhibit receiving the highest point score from the judge(s). The perpetual trophy is a silver platter engraved with the winners' names.
The Joanna Taylor Memorial People's Choice Award
is given to the exhibit receiving the most votes from visitors to the Show. In 1996 this award was named in memory of a respected stamp dealer and longtime devoted Tidewater Stamp Club member. The perpetual trophy is a silver platter engraved with the winners' names.
The Chester S. Gates Memorial New Exhibitor Award
is given to the most outstanding exhibit by a first-time exhibitor. First presented in 2009.
The Ebe H. Pope Founder's Trophy
was retired in 1994 and returned to Margaret Pope, widow of Founder.
